Katherine Marie Stallsworth

Katherine Marie Stallsworth, 79, of Martinsville, died at her home on Friday, March 29, 2024.  Katie, as most knew her, was born in Kingston, New York to the late Joseph Feraca and Katherine (Mecca) Feraca on December 9, 1944.

Katie graduated from Kingston High School.  She worked as a waitress at several establishments in the Indianapolis area including The Waverly Inn, The Holiday Inn, and Shoney’s.  She married Jack Stallsworth on February 1, 1999. 

She loved wildlife and being outdoors with her husband.  She enjoyed swimming, riding four-wheelers, fishing, and gardening. She found joy in the simple pleasures of nature and always cherished the beauty of the world around her.  She also enjoyed gambling.

Katie is survived by her husband, Jack Stallsworth of Martinsville and sons, Anthony Hurt of Greenwood and Joseph Hurt of Indianapolis.

In keeping with her wishes, Katie’s earthly remains have been cremated.  There are no services scheduled.  Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory has been entrusted with the cremation.
