Kenneth Heda

Kenneth Heda, 67, Avon, passed away peacefully at home on June 7, 2024. Mr. Heda was born on March 1, 1957, in Berwyn, Illinois, to the late Harold and Suzanne Marie (Williams) Heda. He married Lisa (Jones) Heda in 1987, and she survives. 

Ken graduated from Oaklawn High School in Illinois. He was employed with the FAA as an air traffic controller and later as an instructor for 23 years. He was a member of the Brownsburg VFW Post 6128 and the Brownsburg American Legion Post 331, where he enjoyed keeping in touch with friends regularly. Ken enjoyed cooking, and playing the guitar, and was an avid Chicago Blackhawks fan. He also followed the Cubs and the Colts. Ken stayed active – always interested in learning, reading, walking, and biking. 

He was preceded in death by a brother, Ted Heda. 

Survivors include his loving wife, Lisa; children, Allison (Lane) Wilson and Daniel Heda; a granddaughter, Ayla Wilson; and a brother, Jeff (Susan) Heda. 

Ken asked to be remembered in a Celebration of Life that will be held Saturday, June 15, 2024, beginning at 6 p.m., at Brozinni Pizzeria, 1067 N Main St, Speedway, IN 46224.
