Kenneth "Ken" Fetsch

Kenneth “Ken” L. Fetsch, 86, of Mooresville, passed away peacefully at home on November 23, 2022. Ken was born in Chicago, Illinois, on June 20, 1936, to the late Ralph and Charlotte Fetsch. Ken and Martha joined in holy matrimony on October 25, 1958. They were married for 62 years until her passing in 2020. He was very spiritual and strong in his faith. He was a long time member of St. Thomas More Church in Mooresville. Ken loved to fish, play golf and read. He could be found every Wednesday playing poker with his neighbors. Ken always put family first and enjoyed his time at family events. He was funny, witty and had a great sense of humor. He was an avid sports fan. He loved the Chicago Cubs and Notre Dame Football. Ken recently married Elaine Murray, whom he lovingly referred to as “Angel”.

Ken is survived by his wife; Elaine M. Fetsch, daughters; Susan (Paul) Hruby and Allison Fetsch, grandchildren; Emily Hruby and Connor Fetsch, brothers; Valentine (Lil) Fetsch, Ralph Fetsch, James (Shirley) Fetsch, and Michael (Connie) Fetsch, sisters; Mary (Richard) McIntire and Charlene (Tom) Burnett.

Ken is preceded in death by his first wife; Martha Fetsch, children; Tim and Evelyn, grandson; Jeremiah Michalak, and sisters; Patricia and Sharon

Visitation will be held at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory on Monday, November 28, 2022, from 3:30 pm – 5:30pm. Additional visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at St. Thomas More Church in Mooresville from 10:00 am – 10:45 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be immediately following at 11:00 am.
