Kenneth “Ray” Minor

77, of Mooresville, Indiana passed away on April 26, 2022. Ray was born in Lee County, Virginia to the late Mack Minor and Dorothy Madge. Ray was a great provider for his family and always found time to spend with what he called “his babies”, his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great grandson. He was generous and selfless. He was quite handy and could fix just about anything. He also enjoyed carpentry. Ray could be found fishing and hunting every now and then and felt best when he was out in nature.

Ray is survived by his loving wife of 10 years; Marie Minor, children; Robin (Shorty) Word, Debbie (Bobby) Bowen, Kristy (Brian) Jenkins, Kenny (Paula) Minor, Mike Slaven, Michelle (Orland) Cyphers and Chris (Stacy) Slaven, grandchildren; April, John, Jason, Jennifer, Nicole, Ashley, Kyle, Chelsea, Lane, Kristin, Chelsea, Tara, Koryne, Mike, Milie, Taylor, Tylor, Cecilia, Maddy and Jaxon, along with 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.

Ray is preceded in death by his first wife; Scarlett O’Hara Minor, grandson; Dusty Bowen and siblings; Paul Wayne Minor, Carl Edward Minor and Barbara Jean Anderson.

There will be a Celebration of Life scheduled for Ray at a later date.
