Melody Sue Boles, 74, Mooresville, passed away November 28, 2021. Mrs. Boles was born October 25, 1947, in Piqua, Ohio, to the late Clarence “Tub” and Hazel Burnside
Melody attended Mooresville High School and was a lifelong Mooresville resident. She was a proud homemaker most of her life, spending much of her time crocheting. Melody was also an avid bowler and enjoyed bowling on many different women’s bowling leagues. Melody was a lifelong member of Mooresville Church of God (now Town Center Church). Melody was married to the late James M. Boles Sr. in 1966, and they were married for 55 years.
Survivors include her three sons, James (Lisa) Boles Jr., Eric (April) Boles, Brad (Angel) Boles; daughter, Beth Boles; brothers, Bud (Sally) Burnside, Doc Burnside; sisters, Chie Chie (Johnie) Boles, Gail McClusky, Becky (Frank) Samuels, Tonja (Eddie) Blaschke; 16 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband James Boles Sr. and a son, Baby Boy Boles.
