Michael L. Richhart

Michael L. Richhart, 63, Mooresville, passed away peacefully at home October 29, 2020. Mike was born April 4, 1957, to the late Harvey L. Richhart and Marie (St. Martin) Richhart, who survives. He married Peggy (Woods) Richhart on May 9, 1981, and she also survives. Their marriage created much joy with the birth of their only son Chad.

Mike graduated from Monrovia High School. He sold truck parts for many years before beginning a career in home inspection. He was the owner and operator of Mike Richhart Inspection Services for the past 15 years. Mike was a member of MIBOR and formerly attended Grace Church. He loved the outdoors – hunting and fishing were two of his favorite pastimes. Above all, Mike was devoted to his family. He will be forever remembered as a loving husband, father, son, and Pa.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Richhart and sister, Juanita Knoy.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Peggy; his only son, Chad (Alicia) Richhart; mother, Marie Richhart; grandson, Hunter Richhart; brothers, David and Donald Richhart.

Friends and family will gather to celebrate Mike’s life on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, 4 to 8 p.m., at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Hall.
