Norma L. Birkner

92, of Mooresville, passed away on December 17, 2022 at St Francis Hospital in Mooresville. Norma was born on April 30, 1930 in Ford County, Illinois to the late William Martens and Louella (Clausen) Martens.

Norma was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed keeping her mind sharp by reading novels, sewing, crafts, gardening, doing word searches and crossword puzzles. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Paul Meers, Philip Birkner; a brother William Martens and a sister Joyce Merritt.

She is survived by her children Karen (Gary) Baize, Marcia (William) Ingram, Roger Meers; grandsons Scott, Ryan, Corey and a great grandson Connor.

Friends and family will gather to celebrate Norma’s life sometime in the spring in Illinois.
