Pamela Sue "Suzie" Danforth

Pamela Sue “Suzie” Danforth, 51, of Mooresville, passed unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, January 18, 2024.  She was born on November 29, 1972 in Martinsville to Pamela (Kendall) Collins and the late William Allen Collins.

Suzie graduated from Martinsville High School with the class of 1990.  She was currently a store manager for Circle K in Mooresville.  She was a member of the Mooresville Eagles.

She enjoyed baking and many can recall her delicious fudge.  An individual with many sides and layers, she enjoyed wolves, butterflies, and Tigger.  She loved hard and loved freely.  Her friendly and pleasant demeanor will be missed by all who knew her.  “Good morning, sunshine” was how she greeted her family, friends, coworkers and customers.  Her father, Willliam Collins, passed in 2017 but Suzie was a daddy’s girl.  The family finds comfort that they are together again.  

She will be deeply missed by her friends and family including her daughters, Kiley (husband, Josh) York of Indianapolis and Timber Tharpe of Fairburry, Nebraska; mother, Pamela Collins of Mooresville; and grandchildren, Letti York, Michael York, Nash York, and Oliver York.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Collins and brother, Darrell Collins.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, January 26, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the chapel at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville.  Pamela’s Life Celebration® Service will immediately follow, beginning at 5:00 pm.  The family plans to share memories and would like to extend the invitation to all her family and friends to share during the service. Following the service, her earthly remains will be cremated.
