Shawn Conly

Shawn Conly, 45, Mooresville, passed away November 15, 2021. Shawn was born November 5, 1976, in Martinsville, to the late Tim and Vicky (Strunk) Conly.

He attended Decatur Central High School and worked for the past 16 years for Antresian Design. Shawn’s work with Antresian complemented his talent and ability to design and create custom wood pieces. He enjoyed working with maple especially, and the custom gifts he has given to family and friends are true treasures now. Shawn was an outdoorsman – he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time at the Smokey Mountains, never turning down an opportunity to spend time in Gatlinburg. He also loved to shoot pool and was known for enjoying an occasional Crown from time to time. The life of the party, Shawn had a great gift of making people laugh and made those around him feel special. Above all, he was a strong family man. Shawn’s memory will be cherished by a loving family and many friends.

Survivors include his wife, Tamara, to whom he was united in marriage April 10, 1998; two sons, Alec (Sianna) Conly and Ty Conly; brother, Adam Conly; one beautiful grandchild, Kiah.

Shawn’s Life Celebration® visitation and funeral service will be held at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, November 20, 2021, with services following at 4 p.m. Cremation will follow services at the Morgan County Crematory.
