Theresa Marie Stewart

Theresa Marie Stewart, 26 of Mooresville, passed away unexpectedly at her grandparent’s residence in Mooresville on August 18, 2015. Theresa was born April 17, 1989 in Indianapolis to David J. White who preceded her in death in 2002 and Mary Jane Stewart; her mother survives.

Theresa was proud to be an honor student at Mooresville High School; she graduated in the class of 2007. She attended IUPUI and Ivy Tech Community College, but was unable to complete her education due to her failing health. A true thrill seeker, Theresa enjoyed riding roller coasters, writing and acting. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her two nephews.

Other survivors include her sisters, Jenna I. Stewart of Mooresville, and Stephanie White of South Carolina; her two nephews, Blake Garrard and Kyler West; niece, Savannah Riley; Maternal grandparents, John and Kathryn Sappington and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family and friends will gather for visitation in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville on Friday, August 21 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Mooresville, Fr.
