Thomas Clayton Miller
80 of Brownsburg, passed away on March 13, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his family. Clayton was born on October 26, 1941 in Rock Castle County, Kentucky to the late Tom Miller and Dovie (Shepherd) Miller.

Clayton proudly and honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. After service he married the love of his life, Judy (Lowery) Miller on March 31, 1967 and were married just shy of 55 years. He was a hardworking man; he worked as a maintenance technician for National Starch and Chemical Company for 33 ½ years, before retiring. He was known by his family as “Mr. Fix It” as he enjoyed tinkering around in his garage was always fixing things that had broken for family and friends. He was a longtime, faithful member of the Lifeline Baptist Church. His devotion to God, his wife and his family will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers Berchal Miller, Robert Miller, sisters Delores Ramsey, Laura Miller, Bonnie Olgesby and Lilly Reese.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judy Miller, son Thomas C. (Elizabeth) Miller, daughter Lisa (Tim) Knapp, brother Phillip Miller, sisters Mary Lou Short, Beatrice Risher, grandchildren Clay Miller, Luke Miller, Keira Miller, Aiden Knapp, Quinton Knapp and Paige Knapp.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Clayton’s life on Thursday, March 17th from 4-8pm at Lifeline Baptist Church, 13387 N Slideoff Rd, Camby, IN 46113. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 18th at 11:00am at Burial will follow the services in West Newton Cemetery.
