Wayne N. Gratien

83, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on September 16, 2022. Wayne was an avid hunter and fisherman. He spent a lot of times outdoors and loved being in nature. Wayne was a big sports fan, especially the Indianapolis Colts. He could be found watching Gunsmoke, I dream of Jeanie and the Andy Griffith Show at all times of the day. One of his joys in life was feeding all of the wildlife around his property, including 10-12 racoons at a time inside the screened in porch!

Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 46 years; JoAnn Gratien, daughters; Kelly (Chanel) Gratien and Karyn (Stanley) Bellamy, grandchildren; Megan and Stephanie, sisters; Marte (Connell) Raate and Jean (Bob) Klinger.

Wayne is preceded in death by his parents; Norbert and Doris Gratien.

A private Celebration of Life Service will take place at a later date.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville.
